Monique is a strong believer in helping students feel capable in Maths as a major factor to their confidence and enjoyment in Maths. Starting with the knowledge a student already has and knowledge about how the brain learns, she shows them that they can achieve. Monique is able to see the concepts in Maths from a student's perspective which helps her to have the patience and understanding to explain the concepts in a manner students find much easier to grasp.
