At Moa Maths our goal is to help students learn to love and succeed in Mathematics, by drawing on student's own learning styles and passions!

Moa Maths was started by Monique Otte, who worked as a secondary school Mathematics teacher in New Zealand for many years before taking a break to have time with her kids. She then took up tutoring as some extra work and absolutely loves getting to do one-on-one work with students. Monique has a passion for showing students that Maths can be achievable by anyone. The product of a father who was also a Mathematics teacher, Monique loves Mathematics and has a very relational, well-thought-out approach to explaining it to others. Drawing on both her experience as a teacher, and as a tutor, she has spent many hours curating programs and workshops that best help students.
